Terms & Conditions - McCoy’s BBQ

DEPOSIT
A 25% deposit is due at time of booking; in the case an event is within (7) business of the event date, all catering cost must be Paid in Full at the time of booking.  All balances must be paid in full at least (7) business days prior to the event. 

PAYMENT METHODS
All food and services may be paid with cash, credit card, certified check, or money order. 

FINAL GUEST COUNT
Guest counts are not subject to reduction, increase request must be submitted by client and approved by McCoy’s BBQ

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
All prepayments and deposits are forfeited if you, the client, cancel the event within thirty days of the event. Refunds will be issued in accordance with McCoy’s BBQ Catering Policies. 

CANCELLATION BY VENUE or ACTS OF GOD
All prepayments and deposits are forfeited if the event is cancelled by your venue or acts of god (i.e. fire, flood, tornado, lightning, or thunderstorms) and prevent McCoy’s BBQ from performing your event as agreed.  McCoy’s BBQ will apply the entire balance of your deposits and prepayments towards another event occurring within 90 days of the original event date. Subject to our availability. Costs are subject to change. 

CANCELLATION BY McCoy’s BBQ
McCoy’s BBQ reserves the right to terminate this catering event for any reason. If McCoy’s BBQ terminates this catering event over 30 days prior to your event date, all deposits and prepayments will be returned in full within 10 days. If McCoy’s BBQ terminates this catering event within 30 days prior to your event date, all deposits and prepayments will be returned in full within 10 days as well as an additional $150.00 penalty.

I, the client, understand that by using/ providing items I own or providing hosting an event at my home/office, that accidents/breakage and damage may occur. I will NOT bill, charge or sue McCoy’s BBQ for any loss unless the damage or loss was caused by the willful negligent actions or conduct of McCoy’s BBQ or its employees.

McCoy’s BBQ LIABILITY
McCoy’s BBQ only liability, for third party claims, will be for actions caused by McCoy’s BBQ and/or the negligent conduct of its employees. 

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY
McCoy’s BBQ assumes no responsibility for the conduct of guests, members and third parties hired to provide services.

INSURANCE
McCoy’s BBQ Maintains General and Automobile Liability Insurance.

VENUE SETUP
The customer shall be solely responsible for securing all the necessary permits, gate passes, authorization and clearances necessary for the caterer to effectively set-up it’s equipment and paraphernalia at the venue.

UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES
The client will comply with all the laws of the United States and the State of Virginia, all municipal ordinances and lawful orders of police and fire departments, and will not do anything on the premises in violation of any laws, ordinances, rules or orders. If unlawful activities are occurring on the premises, and event is cancelled, there will be no refund of any kind from McCoy’s BBQ to client.

PICK UP/DROP OFF ORDERS
Pick-up and Drop-off orders must be stored at the appropriate temperature(s), handled and distributed properly. McCoy’s BBQ will not be held responsible once the food leaves our supervision and/or care.
